MS JUSTICE Mary Laffoy of the High Court congratulates Rónán Ó Condúin of Athboy, Co Meath, and Maria Nic Annraoí, Dublin, both attending Kings Inns, following their win at Bréagchúirt Uí Dhálaigh/Gael Linn 2010 on November 5th last.

The Irish language moot court is organised annually by Gael Linn in memory of the late Cearbhall Ó Dálaigh, former president and chief justice of Ireland. The competition is for third-level law students fluent in Irish and allows aspiring solicitors and barristers to practise courtroom skills. Participants defend or prosecute in an appeal against a court judgment. The competition again attracted a large number of entries, with a team from NUI Maynooth participating for the first time.
