Firearms discovered in Tallaght house search

A Garda search at a house in Tallaght yesterday uncovered three rifles, a handgun and two sawn-off shotguns.

A large amount of ammunition was also uncovered in the house in Kilclare.

A technical examination of the scene has been completed and the arms seized have been removed for further examination.

No arrests have been made to date in the investigation, which is continuing.
