BRIEFS:The Irish Criminal Bar Association is holding its annual public conference on children and the criminal justice system.

It will take place on Saturday April 28th in the King’s Inns, Dublin 7. Speakers include Supt Colette Quinn, Dr Imelda Ryan of Crumlin Hospital, NUIG professor Tom O’Malley, Catherine Ghent, solicitor, Liam Herrick of the Irish Penal Reform Trust and barristers Grainne O’Neill and Miriam Delahunt.

TCD students’ submission

More than 100 students have signed a petition drawn up by a group of law students in TCD on the Legal Services Regulation Bill, outlining reservations they have about the Bill from a law student’s perspective.
