The millionaire pop group the Cranberries, who are soon to launch a new album, have set up their headquarters in Shannon in Co Clare.
This is a first for the music industry in Ireland to set up in a tax-free zone. According to the Limerick band's business manager, Mr P.J. O'Riordan, yesterday, it is delighted the Government is giving the same tax breaks to the music industry as to manufacturing.
The band's fourth album, Bury The Hatchet, will be released in April.
