Court refuses by pass coalition

LONDON - A grouping of leading environmental organisations failed yesterday to join the legal battle to stop the Newbury by pass. Three Court of Appeal judges refused to allow groups including the World Wildlife Fund for Nature, the Royal Society for Nature Conservation and the Council for Protection of Rural England from linking up at the hearing with actions by treetop protesters and local residents.
