Another Dublin city restaurant which has undergone changes is Christina Ffrench-O'Carroll's Lane Gallery Restaurant, on Pembroke Lane just off Pembroke Street. Bruno Jovet, a Corsican Frenchman, has charge of the kitchens, and new signature dishes include grilled king prawns in a garlic and coriander beurre blanc; fresh squid in beer batter; warm salad of marinated quail and bacon with a blue cheese sauce; baked oriental filo pastry with tomato coulis and spring onion. The restaurant is open for lunch, and also serves early bird menus as well as dinner.
