Cork City 4 UCD 1:  Cork City moved into fourth place in the eircom Premier League this evening with a 4-1 win over UCD at Turner's Cross.

The Leesiders are now three points behind St Patrick's Athletic with a game in hand thanks to goals from John O'Flynn, captain Dan Murray and a quick-fire brace from Leon McSweeney.

Cork took the lead through O'Flynn after just 11 minutes but were pegged back moments later by a goal from Ireland under-21 international Shane McFaul on his return to the side.

The skipper restored Cork's lead in the 35 thminute, however, and McSweeney sealed the win with goals in the 71 stand 75 thminute.

The students stay eighth two points ahead of Galway United and eight behind Derry City.
