Cardiff - A lookalike of Sir Sean Connery was jailed for life yesterday after admitting a series of armed raids on building societies across England and Wales, police said.
William Ford (48) was caught in Blackpool after police in Gwent, south Wales, issued a photograph of him which showed a similarity to the Scottish actor. He was jailed at Cardiff Crown Court after judge David Wynn Morgan heard he had carried out three robberies using an imitation gun.
