Scotland international Colin Hendry has been banned for
six international matches for elbowing San Marino'sNicola Albani in a World Cup qualifier at Hampden Parklast month.
The defender has also been fined 10,000 Swiss francsover the incident which saw the 19-year-old Albanireceive treatment in hospital.
The verdict will almost certainly mean the end of35-year-old Hendry's illustrious international careerafter 51 caps.
