The first nationalist mayor for Coleraine Borough Council in Co Derry has been selected.
Mr John Dallat of the SDLP was selected through the d'Hondt system, allowing the three largest parties in the constituency to share the mayoralty on a rotating basis.
Sinn Féin's Mr Francie Molloy has been elected chair of Dungannon Council in Co Tyrone.
