WASHINGTON - More than a year after the Oklahoma City bombing, President Clinton yesterday signed into law an anti terrorism bill that he said struck a "mighty blow" against forces of hatred and division.

Standing on the White House South Lawn at an elaborate signing ceremony attended by several hundred bomb victims, Mr Clinton said the bill would give the government a series of strong new tools to pursue and prosecute those who commit violent acts.
