Kim Clijsters will wait until she is given the "all clear" on her ankle injury before taking the court for her Australian Open semi-final tomorrow.

But the Belgian also said today that it would take a lot to sideline her now that she is only two matches away from her maiden grand slam crown.

"I'm going to have a week off anyway after this. I might as well go for it and give myself a shot," she said after beating Russian Anastasia Myskina 6-2 7-6 in today's quarter-finals.

Clijsters is due to play Swiss Patty Schnyder in semi-final.

"If I can't walk tomorrow then it's stupid to go out there. But it's something that I'll have to see tomorrow," she said.

"I'm going to come out here and, you know, get taped and see how it's feeling and test it," Clijsters said.
