NEW DELHI - President Glafcos Clerides of Cyprus yesterday dismissed Britain's warning of a serious possibility of Greece band Turkey going to war over Cyprus.
"Any such act would put Turkey in complete disarray with the countries of Europe," Mr Clerides said in New Delhi, where he is on a six-day visit. Mr Clerides was responding to remarks earlier yesterday by the British Foreign Secretary, Mr Malcolm Rifkind, who said he feared war could break out between Turkey and Greece.
