The funeral Mass for Andrew Clarke, son of Dublin restaurateurs Sallyanne and Derry Clarke, takes place at the chapel at his school, Clongowes Wood College, Co Kildare at 11am today, after which he will be buried at Mount Jerome Cemetery, Harold’s Cross.
Andrew (16) was removed from his home to the college chapel last night. He died on New Year’s Eve following an accident the previous week while fixing his car at home.
The Clarkes, who have run the award-winning L’Écrivain in Dublin for 23 years, said his organs had been donated to help others.
