Chief Justices from across the EU are currently meeting with the Irish Chief Justice John Murray in Dublin to discuss ways of improving judicial co-operation in the European Union.

The chief justices are also discussing judicial independence and the organisation and working environment of the supreme courts.

The meeting is part of the 2010 Colloquium of the Network of the Presidents of the Supreme Judicial Courts of the European Union

Colloquia of the Network are organised every two years and provide an opportunity to address issues common to supreme courts across the European Union and to foster discussion and the exchange of ideas between the presidents of these courts.
