Glasgow Celtic football club has withdrawn two of its youth teams from an international four-day junior soccer competition in Derry because of fears of trouble arising at Drumcree. A spokesman said the club had sought guarantees about the boys' safety. Since the authorities were unable to give any, Celtic had no option but to withdraw their under-12 and under-13 teams.
