Cavan's Jason Reilly returns to face Fermanagh

Jason Reilly is back in the Cavan full-forward line for Sunday's All-Ireland qualifier against Fermanagh in Enniskillen.

However, coach Mattie Kerrigan will have to contend without captain Peter Reilly who suffered knee ligament damage in the last outing against Louth and will be out for the rest of the year. Anthony Forde will fill the centre-half back berth.

Jason Reilly has not played since the meeting of these two teams at Brewster Park in the league, a match in which he suffered a serious ankle injury.

However, despite his lack of match fitness Kerrigan has decided to gamble on the prolific point scorer for Sunday afternoon's clash. The coach has left a vacancy at corner forward while he waits on the fitness of Gerard Pierson.

Cavan, having been knocked out of the Ulster championship by Armagh, defeated Louth in a low-quality match a fortnight ago, whereas a lacklustre Fermanagh exited at the hands of Down last Sunday.

Cavan(SFQ v Fermanagh): A Donohue; C Collins, T Prior, J Jordan; P Brady, A Forde, M Mckeever; P McKenna, P Brady; S Brady, L Reilly, F O'Reilly; J Reilly, D McCabe, AN Other
