SYDNEY - An Australian woman who claimed she was beaten and abused by nuns at a Catholic orphanage in the 1950s was told yesterday she had left it too late to bring legal action against them. "They've beaten me again," said Ms Margaret Landsdown, after the New South Wales state Supreme Court ruled it could not hear her case against the Sisters of Mercy order. The order denied the allegations.
