Dublin manager Tommy Carr has been banned from appearing on the touchline for this Saturday's crunch All-Ireland quarter-final replay against Kerry.

The GAC released a statement this morning confirming what many Dublin fans feared.

The statement read: "Dublin team manager Tommy Carr has been excluded from the pitch enclosure for the Bank of Ireland All-Ireland football quarter-final replay between Dublin and Kerry in Thurles next Saturday for contravening the match regulations during the drawn game. Matters arising from the referee's report will be addressed under the GAA’s disciplinary procedures."

Carr had incurred the wrath of the GAC for racing onto the pitch during last Saturday's drawn game in Thurles, and screaming his displeasure at a contentious decision by referee Michael Curley, into the stunned official's face.
