A man has been arrested in connection with the seizure of cannabis valued at some €900,000 in Co Offaly this morning.
Gardaí from the Organised Crime Unit and the Garda National Drug Unit, supported by local gardaí, raided a house outside Clara this morning and found up to 90 kilos of cannabis herb and resin.
A man (56) was arrested and taken to Tullamore Garda station, where he is being held under Section Two of the Drug Trafficking Act 1996.
