Cambodia set to join ASEAN

Bangkok - Thailand expects Cambodia to be admitted into the Association of South-east Asian Nations (ASEAN) next year. Cambodia was originally due to become a full member in July, but this was postponed when Prime Minister Prince Norodom Ranariddh was ousted by his co-premier, Mr Hun Sen, after factional fighting in Phnom Penh in July.
