DES MOINES – Businessman Herman Cain and former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney are in a statistical tie for the most support among Republicans in Iowa, where the presidential nomination contests start on January 3rd, a poll shows.
The poll, conducted by the Des Moines Register newspaper, shows Mr Cain with the support of 23 per cent of likely caucus participants, Mr Romney with 22 per cent and Rick Perry on 7 per cent. – (Bloomberg)
