A Belfast bus driver was injured last night when he was attacked by stone throwers.

A Belfast bus driver was injured last night when he was attacked by stone throwers.

He suffered head and face injuries when windows were shattered in his bus after he was attacked at Poleglass on the western outskirts of the city.

Police appealed for anyone with information about the attack in Pantridge Road to contact them.

Translink withdrew all Ulsterbus and Metro bus services into the area.
