Burundi leader meets Nyerere

BUJUMBURA - President Pierre Buyoya of Burundi, his country under sanctions following a military coup last month, flew to Tanzania yesterday to meet former president Julius Nyerere, officials said. Mr Nyerere is playing a leading role in mediation between Mr Buyoya and other African leaders.
