Brother and sister killed in Monaghan collision

A brother and sister in their eighties, were killed today in a traffic collision in County Monaghan.

A brother and sister in their eighties, were killed today in a traffic collision in County Monaghan.

Gardaí say the pair, who have not yet been named, were knocked down by a lorry while out walking.

The incident happened at the junction of Farney Street and Main Street in Carrickmacross at around 4.30 p.m.
