A British naval captain says he is confident of finding the fishing trawler that vanished in the Irish Sea with three members of the same family.
Lieut Comdr Jerry Woods of
HMS Bangor
said: "If we are in the right area, then I'm 100 per cent confident we will find the vessel".
Tullaghmurray Lassdisappeared a fortnight ago as Mr Michael Green, his son and grandson, both called Michael, fished for prawns off the Co Down coast. The Green family had been on their last fishing trip before the boat was to be decommissioned this month.
Weather conditions were fine and it was not known what caused the trawler to sink. The Royal Navy has insisted no submarines were in the area at the time.
An Irish naval ship, the Le Eithne,is also involved in the search about three miles from the port of Kilkeel.
The crew of 35 on board HMS Bangor, which took over from HMS Bridport, includes a team of divers.
