British police have arrested a soldier in connection with the murder of a civilian in Iraq.
It was the first arrest of a British soldier for allegedly killing an Iraqi.
The arrest came after Britain's attorney general ordered police to investigate the death of Hassan Said, who died in ad-Dayr, southeastern Iraq in August 2003.
