A Briton believed to have been working as a security guard for a US firm in Iraq has been killed, The Foreign Office said today.
"A Briton has been killed in Iraq. I can confirm his name is Michael Bloss," the spokeswoman told Reuters.
News reports said he was working for a US security firm but this could not be confirmed by the Foreign Office.
