HMS Westminster, which arrived in Dublin on a goodwill visit yesterday, will play host to a group of disadvantaged children from the charity, Gingerbread, today. A party of Royal Navy veterans will also visit the frigate. The Westminster, a Type 23 Duke Class frigate, 133 metres long and 4,200 tonnes in weight, is berthed at Alexandra Basin until Monday. The ship's company is 174 strong and its commanding officer is Commander Philip Thicknesse.
