Boy (6) killed by falling gate

A six-year-old boy died after a gate fell on him in a flat complex in Coolock yesterday evening. The child sustained severe head injuries in the accident which happened at the entrance to Cromcastle Court at approximately 8.30 p.m. He was taken to Temple Street Children's Hospital, where he died shortly afterwards.
