The young boy who was killed when he fell from a van being driven by his uncle in Knocknaheeny in Cork city on Tuesday was named as Tom Delaney (4) yesterday.
The boy fell from the van after a side door slid open at a roundabout near the Apple Computer Plant. He suffered serious head injuries and was rushed to Cork University Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
