Funding of more than £1.5 million for projects being undertaken in the Border regions has been approved by the board of the International Fund for Ireland. Some £256,160 has been granted for a rural tourism project in the village of Keshcarrigan, Co Leitrim. There is also support for business and tourism interests, including £285,000 to build self-catering cottages for walkers in the Glenade Valley.
