The Danish press are reporting today that Denmark and Bolton midfielder Stig Tofting was arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning following an incident in a Copenhagen restaurant.
Chief inspector Per Jepsen told PA International this afternoon: "I can confirm there was an incident at the Cafe Ketchup and a person was arrested.
"The Danish media have revealed the name of this person. He has been charged with violent conduct under section 244 of the Danish penal code."
