Senior Bank of Japan (BoJ) officials have decided to submit a proposal to end the central bank's super-loose monetary policy at next week's BoJ board meeting, it was reported today.
Such a proposal would end the bank's so-called quantitative easing policy and see it revert to a more conventional monetary policy.
It it were presented at the March 8th-9th meeting, most of the central bank's nine-member policy board would probably vote for it, reports said.
