The body of a Palestinian man killed on suspicion of collaborating with Israel was found in the northern West Bank village of Jarba today.
The 28-year-old man had been shot dead. Members of Palestinian leader Mr Yasser Arafat's Fatah movement in the village said the man had been a collaborator but did not identify which militant group had killed him.
Palestinians suspected of helping Israeli forces track down and kill or arrest militants are the frequent targets of vigilante killings, with two women from the same family killed in Tulkarem last month on suspicion of helping Israel.
