London - Air passengers are experiencing a "black year" for delays, according to figures out yesterday

London - Air passengers are experiencing a "black year" for delays, according to figures out yesterday. Delays to major European flights in June 1998 were the worst in any month for nine years, said the Association of European Airlines.

The association's figures include statistics from British Airways, British Midland Airways and Aer Lingus.
