Two men were charged today with possessing a gun and ammunition in the Shankill Road last year.
Mr Herbert Orr (36), from Ballygomartin Road, and Mr George Ritchie (38), from Riga Street, bpoth in Belfast, were accused of possessing a rifle, magazine and 47 rounds of assorted ammunition at Nelson Court on August 23th, 2000, with intent to endanger life.
They were remanded in custody until November 26th.
