Three armed raiders stole about £2,500 in cash from the Bank of Ireland branch in Howth, Co Dublin, yesterday.
In Churchtown, a motorcyclist armed with a gun stole a substantial sum of money when he held up a security van outside the AIB branch. No one was hurt in either raid.
