A man accused of possessing the gun used to murder alleged UVF leader Mr Richard Jameson applied for bail in the High Court in Belfast yesterday. Mr Nigel Willis (27), of Dunore Avenue, Moygashel, Co Tyrone, was said to have told police he was given the gun in Dungannon after the shooting and took it to Cookstown.

The application was adjourned to today.
