A baby boy who died in a swimming pool in Barbados before Christmas was buried in Limerick yesterday. Niall Roberts (19 months) was buried in Mungret Cemetery after Mass of the Angels was celebrated at St Joseph's Church, O'Connell Avenue.
He drowned when he fell into the swimming pool at the family home last week. His mother, the former Martina Moore, of Gurteen Gardens, Ballinacurra, moved to Barbados with her English-born husband, Barry, and their two other children, Kieran and Cliona, about two years ago. They had been due to return early in the new year.
