Horizon Technology shareholders have been granted an extension for their acceptance of a takeover offer from US computer distributor Avnet that values the firm at €101.3 million.
In statement this morning Avnet said the offer is being extended to June 30th. In May the board of the Dublin-listed IT firm endorsed the offer.
Avnet said 80.89 per cent of shareholders, holding 66.6 million shares, have accepted the €1.18 per share cash offer.
