Arsenal are bidding for a sixth successive victory to equal their best start to a season which came back in 1947 - a record set ironically with a 2-0 win over Bolton.

Manager Arsene Wenger, looking for an early present ahead of his 55th birthday on Wednesday, has recalled Fredrik Ljungberg following a back injury and dropped Dennis Bergkamp to the bench.

Sam Allardyce is celebrating his 200th League game in charge of Bolton and has made two changes to his team.

Ricardo Gardner comes in for Anthony Barness and on-loan striker El-Hadji Diouf makes his first start after impressing as a substitute a week ago. Henrik Pedersen makes way.
