Gardai expect to make an arrest shortly in connection with the killing of a man, whose body was found on Friday afternoon in fields off Mill Lane in Palmerstown, Dublin.
Mr Martin Sweeney (36), from Gurteen Avenue, Ballyfermot, Dublin, died from serious head injuries following an assault. Mr Sweeney, single, was unemployed and lived at home with his widowed mother, brothers and sisters.
The investigation is also continuing into the murder of Ms Bente Carroll (45), whose body was found in the living room of her home at Corduff Grove in Blanchardstown, early last Thursday morning.
