The Army has given the all-clear after a bomb scare at a Dublin industrial estate this morning.

The Army has given the all-clear after a bomb scare at a Dublin industrial estate this morning.

At around 9.10 a.m. a package, which was thought to be ticking, was discovered at the Lotus building in the Airways Industrial Estate, Cloghran Co Dublin.

This resulted in a security alert which led to the evacuation of the Lotus building and surrounding buildings.

The Army bomb disposal team were called and the area was sealed off for three hours after they arrived.

The all-clear has now been given and the workers have been allowed to return to their buildings.

The package in question is said to have contained a laptop computer.
