The PSNI is investigating an incident in which an 11-year-old girl was chased by a masked man carrying a knife in a west Belfast park.
The girl was with friends in Colin Glen Forest Park at around 8.30 p.m. She became separated from this group as she walked by a river.
Police said the man - who was dressed in black clothes and a balaclava - started shouting at her.
He began to run after the girl but tripped and fell. The girl caught up with her friends and reported the incident to police.
