Mr Michael O'Brien (26), of Gallowsfield, Tralee, Co Kerry, was remanded until tomorrow to Annascaul District Court on a charge of murdering James Healy (16) of Shanakill, Tralee.
Judge Humphrey Kelleher at Tralee District Court yesterday asked the State to indicate then when depositions might be taken in the case. The murder is alleged to have been at Monavalley Industrial Estate on February 22nd last.
Mr Malachy Boohig, prosecuting, sought a further remand in custody of the accused who is unmarried and unemployed, and who has been in custody for nine months.
