Gardaí investigating an assault which took place in Dún Laoghaire, Co Dublin in the early hours of Tuesday morning are appealing for witnesses.
The assault took place at Deansgrange crossroads, near the Grange pub, at approximately 12.30am on Tuesday, June 22nd.
Gardaí would particularly like to speak to the occupants of a Nissan Micra, possibly an 06 model, which pulled up on the Clonkeen Road and sounded the horn, in what they presume was in reaction to the assault.
Gardaí have requested the occupants of the car to contact them on 01-6665000.
