The takeover of Dublin-based wound care group Alltracel by US group HemCon Medical Technologies subsidiary Castlerise will be completed this evening.

In a statement from Alltracel today it said no transfers of Alltracel shares will be possible after 6pm.

The cash offer of £20.8 million - or 14p a share - for the London Aim-listed company from HemCon, was passed at an extraordinary general meeting held yesterday in Dublin on April 4th.

HemCon is a privately owned group based in Oregon that provides bandages to US soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.
