Some 400 members assembled at The Dome, Semple Stadium, Thurles, Co Tipperary, yesterday to take part in 100 challenges and to view a fashion show of the Girl Guide uniforms through the last 99 years.

The Irish Girl Guides was founded in Harold’s Cross, Dublin, in 1911, and has 10,500 members around the country.
