Kabul - The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said yesterday more than 30,000 people were hit by last week's Afghan earthquake, which is reported to have also killed at least 60 people.

"Over 30,000 people have been affected by it," an ICRC spokesman said of the damage caused by Thursday night's tremor.
